This week's site progress update is all about embracing a different kind of #islandlife with this stunning private residence on Bowen Island, BC.
With lush temperate rainforests, ample beaches/shoreline and a small but close community atmosphere, Bowen Island is an ideal place to settle down for those who want to get away from the hubbub of Vancouver, but while still only a convenient 20 minute ferry ride away.
The site Corbally Consulting visited certainly takes the natural surroundings to heart, with natural light a major feature of the home.
On this project, Corbally Consulting performed the structural analysis of the steel skylight and 3m tall x 9m wide sliding doors.
