Our project highlight this week is the stunning new administrative building for the We Wai Kai Nation, located on the Quinsam Reserve on Vancouver Island.
This 116,229 SF project marries modernity and functionality with the beauty and tradition of First Nations artwork and visual storytelling. When finished, the building will serve many purposes, including the consolidation of Island Health Authority and Indigenous health offices, as well as commercial office space and general administrative offices, meeting rooms and council room.
On this project, Corbally Consulting is providing Structural Engineering services for the unitized and stick built curtain wall, embed design, sunshades and First Nations artwork.
